Ok i acquired a 2006 altima 2.5l and also had to adjust the CPS sensor.. I can not uncover a good DIY so right here you go, the cursed STEALER want 300.plus to perform this.. Hell with that... Remove the (4) allen head bolts that hold the plastic engine cover. Eliminate the wait tube that connects the throttle chamber come air filter box. Pull turn off the valve cover breather hose through the air tube. Now ar a drop light under the 2 rubber heater hoses (at the firewall on the chauffeurs hand side), glowing the irradiate forward in the direction of the earlier side of the block (below the input runners). To check out the crankshaft sensor and connector, look between the valve cover and also the accelerator chambers (intake runners) top top the vehicle drivers side, look right down toward the ground… look because that the sensor with a black color wire connector with a environment-friendly tab on the side, hosted to the engine block v a gold colored 10mm hex top bolt. Girlfriend will need to view the sensor from this place as you are following the steps listed below to remove and install the crank sensor.
You will need to push on the green part of the clip it rotates you here a CLICK. Then just pull it off of the CPS. Mine just pushed in no prob, yet if it is hard try putting a 15mm socket on your ignorance and try again so the wont reduced into your ignorance it will look choose this once it comes off.
Next action is to gain the CPS the end of the side of the block, this was the hardest component for me.. The a 10mm bolt holding that in, i took a 2in extension and reached down and put it on the bolt. Climate took a 4-6in extension and rachet and hooked to the currently started 2in and also socket and also lossen the up.. Currently to gain the CPS the end of the block you might be able to wiggle it earlier and soon to gain it out, mine ns took some needle sleep pliers and grabbed it and also pulled that out..
