My A/C to be shot and also I move to R134A while ns was at it..I gained a new Evaporator core, (and heater core) orifice line, and dryer/accumulator. The just thing that i didn"t change is the compressor and also the condensor.... And also I had actually a girlfriend of a friend"s shop do the R 134s conversion and add the oil in ~ his shop... Grand complete was just under $600 because that parts...This is something girlfriend should shot to do yourself if you can... When my A/C first went the end this one man wanted $950 to replace just the Evaporative coil and also recharge the system!!! The evaporative coil is only like $120-150 the rest was labor... The hardest component is obtaining the dash out... Something like 50 screws holding that bastard in. It took me 2 hrs to unbolt it by myself.
