Sometimes when I’m not sure about a recipe but want to shot it anyway, I scale down the cooking recipes to 50% of the original. In those circumstances, I discovered it very challenging to calculation 50% of 3/4 cup, or to measure 50% the 1.5 tablespoon, etc. Climate I found this handy table in mine “Baking because that Dummies” book. For instance 3/4th of a cup is equal to 12 tablespoons, so fifty percent of it would certainly be 6 tablespoons.

I don’t know just how to measure up ingredients. I know what 80g flour (3/5 cup) is? you re welcome help? give thanks to you

Hi there, this cooking recipes is questioning for 80 grams the cake flour, milk and sugar… and 50 grams that canola oil.. I’m not sure what measurements to use. I only use cups not grams

hey for this reason my recipe is asking for 1.5 tsp and also i’m having trouble just trying to figure out the entirety 1.5 thing. Is that favor 1/2 tsp or what. Ns kinda struggling here.

Thanks so lot for including this switch page. Being in Australia, I regularly give up on us recipes simply since I’m no sure just how to convert them to mine equipment. And also often I’m not also sure even if it is an ingredient was measured by volume or by weight, so again, this conversion page helps.

Question: I have actually noticed that UK/European dimensions are quite various from American. They have either a little an ext or a little less, such as Bread Flour, in grams to cups. That’s why mine Bread Flour switch was way too much, as Bread Flour is an ext dense.Like 500 grams the Bread Flour is 4 cups in our conversion, however in their actual recipe, the woukd be more like 3-3.5 cups.Help clarify, please.
